How to Grow Nails Faster

Over the past couple of months, the number one question I've been asked a lot "How do you grow your nails so quickly?"

Now. . .I am no expert or Nail Care guru, but one thing I can tell you is this. . .Growing your nails is pretty easy and quick.

Most times people would refer you to nail care products to help "Stimulate Nail Growth" but no cosmetic product can stimulate the growth of nails.

According to Doug Schoon  a well known chemist in the nail industry.  "Not only is this a false claim, but it also an illegal claim." In fact I believe the best method available is the "Natural Method".

Natural Ways to get your Nails growing!

1. Move to a warmer climate.

I'm not actually saying to get your bags packing and ship yourself to somewhere in the northern hemisphere just for the sake of your nail growth, but you could try taking a vacation :D.  It has been said that nail plates grow twenty percent (20%) during the summer, as a result of the increased blood flow in the matrix.

If you live in the colder climates:
  • Protect your hands from the brutal cold weather - Wear comfortable gloves and keep does fingers snugly and warm.  With this your nails are protected from the harsh conditions of the weather and the chances of getting brittle nails will be lowered and the chances of them growing will be raised.
  • Get plenty of sun.  Even in the winter time.

2. Bite your nails or Damage them.

You guys may seem surprised, but yes!  Your finger nail plates actually grow faster when damaged.  This is a way in which your body goes into survival mode.  But don't turn that into a habit and get carried away because sooner or later you won't have anything to bite off!

With these two things being said, I can testify.  When I went to the United States (U.S) for a summer Vacation (Two years ago) , my nail length was about average, but after I started to see changes. . .My nails grew longer, I'm not even kidding and that's how my Nail Polish addiction grew.  I started to use my aunties polish and just paint my nails for fun.  Every day I would change up the style.  I just fell in Love.   Right now, my polish addiction has just shot up and I'm now even more obsessed with growing my nails, just recently my longest thumb nail broke (I jammed it against the wall).  I was so devastated and scared I didn't want to see the nail go, but eventually I caught it off and two weeks later (NO EXAGGERATION   My nail is almost back to it's normal length.  I was so elated I could start back painting my nails.   They were looking so naked.

TIPS INTO GROWING LONGER NAILS and ACHIEVING SMOOTH HANDS (Home remedies)

Image uploaded for Google.
  1. Rub some oil around your nails and around the cuticle lines to get them moisturized and stimulated. This way, you will be bringing more blood into your matrix causing faster growth.  For best results it is good to moisturize your nails 2 or more time daily.2.
  2. Soak your hands in a bowl of milk(warm) for about five minutes.
  3. Soak and wash your hands in oil, water and salt for about 5 - 10 minutes twice every other week.
  4. Rub a piece of lime onto your hands to remove the accumulated dirt.  For more effective results, sprinkle some salt onto the lemon and then rub into hands.

Here are a more couple 'RULES' To abide by:

Rule number one (1):  When Painting you nails, always use a base coat.  This way the chances of getting your nails stained are reduced.

Rule number two (2):  Polishing your nails can be addicting, but it is wise to get a new manicure every seven days (every week).   Polishes that had been applied for more than seven days gets brittle and cracks.
